Dear Neighbor,
If you’ve lived in Hinsdale long enough, you already know two things to be true:
I’m Tony Anczer, owner and lead realtor at Tony Anczer Group Real Estate, and if you’re reading this, chances are you’re thinking about buying a house, selling a house, investing in real estate, or making a commercial move somewhere in or around Hinsdale, IL. Or maybe you’re just browsing between Metra stops and scrolling on your phone like the rest of us do while waiting near the BNSF line.
Either way — welcome. Pull up a chair. This is going to feel less like a sales pitch and more like a letter from a guy who genuinely loves this town, knows the local real estate market inside and out, and happens to be very good at helping people navigate it.
I’ve been a real estate agent for a long time, long enough to see markets rise, fall, get dramatic, calm down, and then get dramatic again. Through it all, my approach has stayed the same: be honest, be prepared, don’t overcomplicate things, and always treat clients the way I’d want my own family treated.
This isn’t a call center that assigns you a random real estate agent. When you call my number, (708) 608-3000 – that’s my direct cell phone number. You’re working directly with me — not a rotating cast of assistants or a mystery “team member.”
My wife Lisa runs the office side of the business, and together we work with a trusted group of vendor partners — from professional photographers to real estate attorneys, inspectors, and mortgage brokers — who all understand Hinsdale’s market and expectations.
Let’s talk about what that actually means for you.
Hinsdale isn’t just another Chicago suburb — and anyone who’s ever tried to buy or sell a home here knows that. This is a community with historic homes near downtown, stunning newer construction tucked along tree-lined streets, and price points that demand precision, not guesswork.
Homes near Katherine Legge Memorial Park, along Washington Street, close to Hinsdale Central High School, or within walking distance of downtown Hinsdale don’t behave like homes in other suburbs. Buyers here are discerning. Sellers have expectations. And one poorly handled detail can cost real money.
That’s why working with the best real estate agent for Hinsdale isn’t about flashy marketing or empty promises — it’s about deep local knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and a calm, strategic approach.
That’s where I come in.
If you’ve ever Googled “how to buy a house” or “how do I buy a house,” you’ve probably realized pretty quickly that the internet makes it sound both extremely easy and impossibly confusing at the same time.
Buying a house in Hinsdale — whether it’s your first home or your fifth — is a process that needs to be handled thoughtfully. Inventory can be tight. Competition can be fierce. And desirable homes near downtown, Madison Elementary, or Oak Street often attract serious buyers fast.
As your realtor, my job is to help you buy a house with clarity and confidence. That starts with understanding what you actually want — not just the number of bedrooms, but how you live. Do you want walkability to downtown coffee shops? Easy access to Ogden Avenue? Proximity to parks, schools, or the Metra?
From there, we analyze pricing, recent sales, and market momentum so you’re never guessing. When the right home comes along, I’ll guide you through offer strategy, negotiations, inspections, and closing — making sure you don’t overpay or miss important details.
For first-time home buyers, this process can feel especially overwhelming. I slow things down, explain everything clearly, and make sure you feel informed at every step. No pressure. No rushing. Just smart decisions.
Selling a house in Hinsdale is not the same as slapping a sign in the yard and hoping for the best.
Homes here require strategic pricing, professional presentation, and marketing that speaks to the right buyers — whether that’s families relocating from Chicago, executives moving from other suburbs, or long-time residents looking to downsize.
As your listing agent, I handle the entire process with intention. That means preparing your home properly, coordinating professional photography, crafting compelling listing descriptions, and positioning your property to stand out online and in-person.
Pricing matters — a lot. Too high, and your home sits. Too low, and you leave money on the table. I use real data, not wishful thinking, to determine the right approach based on your specific street, neighborhood, and home style.
When offers come in, I negotiate fiercely but professionally, always keeping your goals front and center. My job isn’t just to sell your house — it’s to sell it well.
In this video I pull up all the homes that have sold in Hinsdale in the last year and show the photos and descriptions of the homes. This video will give you a feel for what type of homes are available in Hinsdale, and will give you a feel for how much you have to spend for the type of house you are looking for.
I have videos like this for many other Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana homes – if you’d like to see those just do a YouTube search for “How Much Do Homes Cost in _____” and fill in the city name. I’d also be happy to send you the latest sale data for any town of interest to you.
A Final Word — And an Invitation
If you’re looking for the best realtor in Hinsdale — someone who knows the streets, understands the market, answers their phone, and treats your transaction like it actually matters — I’d love to talk.
Whether you’re ready to buy a house, sell a home, invest in real estate, or explore commercial opportunities, now is the time to get clear, informed, and confident about your next move.
Reach out. Call me. Schedule a consultation.
Let’s make your next real estate decision a smart one.
Warm regards,
Tony Anczer

Well, of course, I’d love to be your realtor! If you are looking to find a real estate agent, or the “best realtors near me” what I would recommend is to call a couple Hinsdale real estate agents and ask them to explain the buying and selling process, and what value they add to the process. From this conversation you will get a feel for if the agent “knows their stuff,” and you can get a feel for if you would be a good fit with that agent. Actually, before most people call me, they have done a web search for “realtor near me,” “best realtor near me,” “Hinsdale realtor near me” or “top realtors near me,” and have found my website or my YouTube channel, which has a wealth of information on Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland Suburbs.
Traffic in off-peak hours is reasonable, but rush hour along I-294 and along Ogden Avenue can become pretty gridlocked. If you are commuting to downtown Chicago for work, taking the train would be the recommended means of traveling downtown.
For all intents and purposes, there is not generally much of a difference between a real estate agent and a Realtor. A “Realtor” is a designation of real estate agents. So, all Realtors are real estate agents, but not all real estate agents are Realtors.
I work directly with every client, focus on clear communication, and bring deep local knowledge to every transaction. No gimmicks. No pressure. Just results.
If you are exploring buying a home, searching for new homes for sale, wanting to learn more about how to buy a house in Indiana, or seeking expert help to sell your property, I’d love help with your buying or selling journey! One thing I enjoy about working in the real estate industry is that I have the opportunity to help families transistion to their next season of life, and I am a Realtor in Hinsdale who truly cares about providing you the best buying and selling experience possible.
