No – DeMotte does not have a pre-sale home inspection. Many towns in Illinois do have a pre-sale home inspection required by the city or village, but the Town of DeMotte does not require a pre-sale home inspection. Note that a home inspection would still be part of the real estate sale process, but that would be an inspector hired by the buyer, and unrelated to the Town of DeMotte. The main involvement from the Town of DeMotte you would have would be to have the Town of DeMotte Utilities Department change the water account to the name of the buyer, and for the seller to have the final water bill paid right before closing.
