No – Bolingbrook does not have a pre-sale home inspection. Many towns in Illinois do have a pre-sale home inspection required by the city or village, but the Village of Bolingbrook does not require a pre-sale home inspection. Note that a home inspection would still be part of the real estate sale process, but that would be an inspector hired by the buyer, and unrelated to the Village of Bolingbrook.

The Village of Bolingbrook, the State of Illinois and Will County all have a seperate “transfer stamp” fees, which are essentially a tax upon buying or selling a home.
