Where is Copper Creek Subdivision Located?

The location of Copper Creek subdivision is along the southwest corner of the City of Crown Point Indiana

To get the Copper Creek subdivision you would take Grant Street (aka Rt 55) to west 133rd Rd., then West on 133rd Rd. to Copper Creek Drive, and then you are at the entrance to the subdivision.  As a landmark of where to turn is the pond of Regency Subdivision located at the northeast corner of Grant St. and 133rd.  133rd Rd. continues to the west into Cedar Lake.

Copper Creek Subdivision Home Owners Association (HOA)

Does Copper Creek have a Home Owners Association

Yes, Copper Creek subdivision does have an HOA, with covenants that put restrictions and requirements on the subdivision.  Read the Copper Creek Covenants and Restrictions here.

What are some of the main restrictions of the subdivision?

  • All one (1) story residences shall have a minimum finished floor area of one thousand eight hundred (1,800) square feet.

  • All one and one-half (1-1/2) story residences shall have a minimum finished floor area of two thousand (2,000) square feet.

  • All two (2) story residences shall have a minimum finished floor area of two thousand two hundred (2,200) square feet.
  • Boats and motor vehicles – No recreational vehicles, motor homes, boats, boat trailers, recreational equipment and trailers, commercial vehicles over one-half ton, or other motor vehicles, except four-wheel passenger automobiles, shall be placed, parked or stored upon any Lot for more than forty-eight (48) hours, nor shall any maintenance or repair be performed upon any boat or motor vehicle upon any Lot, except within a fully enclosed building and totally isolated from public view.
  • Pools – No above ground swimming pools shall be installed on any lot. This includes “temporary” or inflatable pools.
  • Fences – Only “wrought iron” style or aluminum fences will be allowed, and in any and all occasions chain link fences are prohibited from use anywhere in the Subdivision including dog runs and pet enclosures.

What Type Of Homes Are In Copper Creek subdivision?

Ranch homes, 1.5 story homes, and 2 story homes.  Tri-level homes, bi-level homes, and quad-level homes are not allowed.  Copper Creek is one of the more expensive subdivisions in Crown Point, and are mostly custom homes that are built at a higher quality than production home builders.

No, there is no park in Copper Creek.  Right down the street to the west is Lemon Lake County Park that has a very large playground with lots of playground equipment, fishing ponds, disc golf course, and hiking trails.
