Highpoint Trails subdivision is located on the west border of the Town of Dyer, towards the southern end of the town. Just to the west of Prairie Trails subdivision is the Plum Creek Meadown forest preserve.
To get to Prairie Trails Subdivision from the north you would take Rt. 30 (aka Lincoln Highway) to Hart St. Then take Hart St. south to Highpoint Trail Drive, and then you are at the entrance to the subdivision.
To get the Highpoint Trails subdivision from the south you would take Steger Road (aka 81st Ave.) to Hart St., then north on Hart St. to Highpoint Trail Drive, and then you are at the entrance to the subdivision. As a landmark of where to turn is the BP gas station on the northwest corner of Steger Road and 81st. Avenue.
